What Is Paid2Tap?
Paid2Tap claims to be the “#1 Influencer Growth Network” where making money is “easy as 1,2,3”. On its FAQ page Paid2Tap, also claims that is the “#1 Earning Network” according to Forbes. Although that sounds great, I am afraid it is not true. And this is not the only warning sign that this site is not to be trusted.
I found no evidence that Paid2Tap has ever been mentioned by Forbes. But that didn’t surprise me. And it shouldn’t surprise you either. That is a common tactic used by such sites to make themselves look legitimate. You see Paid2Tap is nothing new or anything I haven’t seen before. I have reviewed several of these sites before, and they all look exactly like Paid2Tap.
Paid2Tap is part of a huge network of fake GPT sites pretending to be the #1 Influencer Network or the #1 Earning Network in the world. I recently reviewed another such website called Social Rebel. It is identical to Paid2Tap. And that is not the only one.
Here is a short list of some similar sites:
- GoCashouts
- CashGem
- RewardDollars
- ShareCash
- CashJunky
- MoneyGuru
There are, of course, many more. All of these sites claim the same things and tell the same lies. They are the same program being launched under various names. When people start complaining about not getting paid they close it down and open it up under a new name.
What all these sites want is your personal information (email address, phone number, payment processor details, etc) and for you to complete as many tasks as you can. And of course, to share your referral link on social media and post videos on YouTube and TikTok promoting the program. After all, these are the necessary requirements that you must meet to withdraw your earnings.
But they won’t pay you no matter what you do. There are plenty of negative reviews and complaints about all these websites. Paid2Tap is just a copy of older similar sites. Members don’t earn $8,150 per month on average as they claim. No legit GPT (Get-Paid-To) pays that much. There is no such system that can pay you hundreds of dollars for taking some surveys. In general, GPT sites and paid survey sites will pay around $5 to $15 per hour. But nothing like Paid2Tap claims to pay its members.
The rewards offered by this site are exaggerated and unrealistic. And that’s not the only false or misleading information on Paid2Tap’s site. They also claim to be trusted in over 140 countries, have over 550k+ affiliates, send out over 7,000 payments every day and being featured in top editorials such as Business Insider, The New York Times, BuzzFeed, Save the Student, and more.
Of course none, of that is true. Based on my research, everything you see on this site is fake. I explain below (Cons section) why I say this and why I believe this site is a waste of time. In my opinion, Paid2Tap is a site you should avoid. You will not make any money here.
How Does Paid2Tap Work?
According to Paid2Tap, all you have to do to earn money is follow 3 easy steps. After all, they claim to be the “easiest influencer network in the world”. You will also earn a $25 bonus upon sign up.
Here are the 3 steps you need to take to earn money with Paid2Tap:
- Sing up. Create an account (free). You need to enter your full name, an email address, and pick a username.
- Share your referral link. Invite your friends to Paid2Tap and earn $10 for every signup. You also earn $2 every time someone clicks on your invite link.
- Get Paid. Withdraw your earnings to PayPal, Zelle, Venmo, CashApp, and more.
That’s how easy it is to earn money with Paid2Tap. You can earn money by completing surveys, downloading & testing apps, playing games, and of course by inviting others. Everybody can do that and creating an account is free. It sounds like a great opportunity but unfortunately, it doesn’t work like that. In fact, it doesn’t work at all.
All they are interested in is your personal data. They want you to refer as many people as you can so that they can harvest their data too. After all, you can’t cash out until you meet the following requirement:
- Complete 6 tasks (offers)
- Invite 5 people to sign up
- Get 15 clicks on your referral link
- Publish 5 posts on social media
Every time you complete one of these tasks, the money will appear on your Paid2Tap account, making you think you are earning real money. But you won’t be able to withdraw your earnings. Websites like Paid2Tap, are not designed to help you make money online. Some people claim that the tasks (downloading & installing apps) offered to you are actually CPA (Cost-Per-Action) offers, and that is who the owners of these sites earn their money. But I can not be sure of that.
You should be very careful with whom you share your personal information with. Some of these tasks may redirect you to other websites or ask you to submit your PayPal/credit card information. I would be very careful with that.
Pros & Cons
I think it is clear by now that I would never recommend a site like Paid2Tap to anyone. I don’t believe this is a way to make money online. I would never promote or join such a site. In my opinion Paid2Tap is a waste of time.
Here is a list of the main reasons why you should avoid this site:
Pros
- Free to join. Honestly, there is nothing to like about Paid2Tap. The only good thing is that it is free. If you don’t believe me, you can try it yourself. But I would be very careful about the information I share with them.
Cons
- Fake “About Us” page. Nothing in their “About Us” page makes any sense. They claim Paid2Tap, was established as a website in October of 2015 but according to whois.com the domain paid2tap.com was registered on July 26th, 2021. Something doesn’t seem right here. Don’t you think?
If the website was created in July 2021 how did it reach 1M+ shares and gain over 500,000 affiliates in such a short time? If their “history” page is fake, how can such a site be legit opportunity?
- Fake Payment Proofs. Paid2Tap shows us many proofs of payment and members receiving hundreds of dollars. But I think they are fake. How else can you explain that despite the domain was registered on July 26th, they show the image of a member being paid on July 3rd?
And if you are still not convinced that Paid2Tap is a fraudulent website, take a look at the following testimonials. The ones on Image 1 are from Paid2Tap and the ones on Image 2 are from SocialRebel.co. They look pretty similar, don’t they? Actually, they are the same testimonials. The names are also the same. Only the profile pics are different.

-
- Unknown Owners. Paid2Tap tells us that the names of the CEO’s founders are Willard Clarke and Kevin Webster. But I found the same picture of Kevin Webster on numerous other sites (image 2). Only the t-shirt is different. They don’t show us a picture of Willard Clarke, but I am sure it would be fake too.

- Many Complaints. More and more people are calling Paid2Tap a scam. There are many complaints from members who have been waiting for weeks to receive their payment to no avail. People are beginning to realize that they will not get paid no matter what they do.
Final Thoughts
In my opinion, Paid2Tap is a waste of time. It is a copy of other similar personal data harvesting websites that never paid anyone. I would never recommend such a site. That is not a way to make money online. I can not tell you what to do, but I would stay away from this site.
Based on my research Paid2Tap, is not an earning opportunity. Everything you see on this is fake. From the “About Us” page to the testimonials and proofs of payment.
There are plenty of get-rich-quick “opportunities” online. But they are almost all scams. There is no such thing as free money online.
