14 Best Paid Online Survey Websites

Looking to make a bit of extra cash in your spare time?

Online surveys can help you earn money online while sitting at home. Everyone knows you can get paid to take surveys online and earn some extra money without leaving your home. Taking surveys is also an easy way to earn a few bucks. All you have to do is share your opinion. You don’t need any special skills or qualifications for that.

But you should know that doing surveys online is not a way to solve your financial problems or create a great second income. Earning some extra money per month by taking surveys online is possible and doable. Making a full-time income though by is highly unlikely.

The reason I say this is because not all survey sites are legit. There are quite a few scams out there waiting to rip you off. Don’t trust survey sites promising you hundreds of dollars per day. Also, no legit survey site will ever ask your credit card or bank account information. Don’t forget if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is.

At the end of this post, I talk about how to avoid such scam sites and how to identify the legitimate ones.

Disclaimer: I haven’t tried all 14 websites myself. The list is based on my research and information available on the Internet.

HOW TO AVOID SURVEY SCAMS

The survey sites on my list are all legitimate and reliable. Of course, they are not the only ones. Here I just mentioned the most popular ones. But if you are looking to make some easy money online by taking surveys you should start with the ones above.

Of course, as we all know there are plenty of work-from-home scams that try to deceive you and steal your money. Survey sites are not the exception. Here are some tips on how to distinguish between the legitimate survey-taking opportunities and the frauds.

  • Private information. A legit site would never request your credit card – bank account information or your Social Security number.
  • Sell you something. Legitimate sites will not try to sell or promote you a product/service
  • Ask you to pay first. Survey websites that ask you to pay to join or for a service they offer must be avoided.
  • Spam emails. Sites sending you spam emails asking you  to join. That is a clear sign you should stay away from them.
  • Lack of essential legal pages. If the site has no Privacy Policy, Contact Information page, or Terms of Service page you should never join.
  • Unrealistic rewards. Real online survey websites don’t promise outrageous earning potentials for taking surveys.
  • Outdated website. If the site’s layout looks unprofessional, has spelling mistakes and links that lead to nowhere you should avoid it.
  • Pressure tactics. If the survey site is claiming that only a few spots are left and you should hurry up to sign up. That is a clear warning sign. Check the site again after a few days and it’ll probably still say “only a few spots left”.

Conclusion

All 14 survey sites listed above are free to use and will pay you for completing surveys. You won’t become rich by taking surveys but you can make some extra money in your spare time.

To make the most from survey sites I suggest signing up for as many as you can. That way you will always have surveys to answer. After all, you will not qualify for every survey so it makes sense to join multiple sites at once. Choose the ones (from my list) you like the most and create an account.

If you are interested in earning something more than a few dollars per month then survey sites are not what you are looking for. I recommend starting an affiliate marketing website. You can learn how to build an affiliate site for free by taking a look at the training course below.
